Figure AI
Winter 26' Internship
This winter, I interned at Figure AI, a leading commercial humanoid robotics start-up valued at $39 billion. As a mechanical design intern, I contributed to actuator design, hand testing, and robot development, supporting the engineering of humanoid systems for real-world deployment.

Unfortunately, all my work at Figure is under an NDA. But, here's some things I did...
๐ Led development of a dynamometer and off axis loader for actuators that increased design iteration and validation speed by 3x.

โ
โ
๐ Refine design of in-house actuators that are engineered to be 1/3 the mass and size of standard industrial options while maintaining equivalent performance and torque.โ

โ
๐งนโโโ Designed and integrated the humanoid robot head as a mechanical platform for sensors, packaging, display.
